TN: 1977 Pocas Junior Vintage Port

Decant: 1½ - Orange in colour, with a very pale orange rim. Stewed rhubarb on the nose; sweet, but cut with a lovely lime acidity. Sweet entry, a touch hollow but a pleasant medicinal fruitiness - a touch of harshness in the mid-palate. Not well balanced. A lovely, sweet aniseed balls aftertaste; some heat in the middle fo the finish, which fades slowly and enjoyably. 82 points
