Decant: 6 hours double decanted - Light in colour without being pale. Very closed on the nose, showing little until a swirl is used to release a touch of spearmint and Canadian Raisin Pie. Very smooth entry, with a touch of tannins and a stewed red fruit sweetness. A bubblegum aftertaste is followed by a generous stewed raisin that lasts a long time. Perhaps a little one-dimensional, but that one dimension is delivered very well. 88 points
