Decant: 3 hours double decanted - Deep red in colour, just transparent in centre. Subdued on the nose, but perfumed and herbaceous. Very sweet in the mouth with lovely fruit; rich and full, and with plenty of tannins for many years of life to come. Very good development in the mouth. Spicy and lively aftertaste that grows huge and lasts a very long time. Wonderful port and a real surprise when its identity was revealed. 92 points
