Decant: 3 hours double decanted - Deeply coloured, a nice red and with an opaque centre. Very dusty on the nose, full of brambles and fruit bit also with quite a sharp edge. Hollow in the mouth and then very acidic. The mid-palate is quite weak, sweetness but not much else although some tannins remain. Extremely hot aftertaste, quite generous in flavour but no fruit. 82 points
