TN: 2007 Quinta da Romaneira Vintage Port

Decant: 2 hours - Snapshot tasting. Made by the same winemaker as Noval and Silval. Currently has 35ha of old (30-35 year old) vines and 40 ha of new vines. Crimson on the rim and with a transparent centre. Quite a closed nose, but showing some fruit and alcohol. Very soft and silky, gentle and elegant blackcurrants with just a hint of tannins and plenty of acidity. Good aftertaste, mouthfilling. Delicious for drinking today! 87-89. 87 points
