Decant: Just Opened - Purple hint to the wine, fading into the rim. Violets and blueberries on the nose. Gentle entry, fruity but with a touch of harshness in the midpalate but a nice acidic structure. Little tannins evident. Relatively short aftertaste compared to the other Vesuvios shown at the same tasting. 89 points
