TN: 2000 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Deep colour, opaque centre. Assertive nose, very minty; full of menthol and raisins. Youthful yannic attack, very acidic. Restrained fruit, very dry cheeks; the fruit is there but never dominates. The aftertaste is dry and full of espresso and tannic bannana skins. Not great for drinking today, but surely with a lot of potential. 88 points
