TN: 1952 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Dark colour, showing orange on the rim. Sour quince on the nose. Unexpectedly sweet in the mouth, with a dry tannin backbone. Light bodied, quite thin and with little fruit although with some air there is some licorice. The aftertaste is gentle and pleasant. This is an old and fading wine, acceptable drinking but not one to seek out. 79 points
