Decant: 2 hours - Ullaged to mid-shoulder. Very light colour, the orange colour of barley-sugar. Very little nose, quite dull, but sweet in the mouth and quite thick texture. The flavours are dominated by tertiary brown sugar and fresh grapefruit. Very pleasant development, but not huge amounts of complexity. The acidity in the wines keeps a good freshness to the flavours. The aftertaste is big and immediate, filling the mouth with quince and brown sugar and long lasting. This is a fully mature wine that is probably declining, but is still very tasty and worth drinking today - but don't keep them too long. 85 points
