TN: 1960 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Deeper in colour than the 1958 shown alongside. Quite hot on the nose, sweet strawberry syrup. A lovely texture in the mouth, but with a subdued harsh streak in the flavours of fruit and turkish delight, livened up with a lovely clove spiciness. Delightful development. Hollow on swallowing and little coming through in the aftertaste, subdued and fadined. Delicious drinking, but spoiled by the finish. 85 points
