1985 Gould Campbell VP

Man, I'm out of practise at this!
Opened on a whim tonight, this bottle was supposed to have been for Thanksgiving dinner this past weekend, but was neglectfully left in the cupboard at home instead of being brought to my father's house. The cork crumbled but was saturated almost three-quarters of the way through.
Light rose colour and transparent. A pleasant floral aroma with a suggestion of plum in the bouquet.
On tha palate it is a short wine, light-bodied with a hit of leafy tobacco. Well balanced and sweet. A light-sipping VP to enjoy on a weeknight. :) I doubt this will ever be confused for a heavyweight of its era, but is a perfectly pleasant wine. One I would buy again.
We`ll see if it evolves at all over the next couple of hours/nights.
