NV Constantino Tawny Port – “Roncão Velho”This was bottled sometime around the 1920’s-1930’s, although an exact date is not known. Plenty of pine needles, anise, and licorise on the nose. This still had plenty of acidity left, which everyone commented about, orange peel, and a full rich palate. I was struck by how long the finish was on the Tawny Port and this was the favorite Port of the evening. This surprised everyone at how good it still was. A real treat for Miguel to share this rare old bottle with us. 95 Points
