NV Taylor 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Tasted at the Taylor lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia on 02-OCT-2010 prior to the start of the 2010 Port Harvest Tour.
Taylor 20 Year Old Tawny Port
More red than expected in the glass - looks closer to a 10-yr old's color than a 20-yr old's. Good oak notes but the sweetness seems simple, like simple syrup. Good acidity. A faint note of gunpowder on the nose and in the finish.
Score: 90 points
