NV Andresen 40 Year Old Tawny Port

Tasted at the Andresen lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia on 03-OCT-2010 as part of the 2010 Port Harvest Tour.
Andresen 40 Year Old Tawny
Averages 44-45 years old. Medium dark (less than expected) with green hints around the edges. A "typical" nose for a 40-yr old. Explosive mouth - bold and bright. Very clean almost crisp finish. Smoother yet livelier than Kopke and Noval 40-yr olds, easily on par with them in quality.
Score: 95+ points. Very impressive!
