Tasted at Quinta da Gaivosa on 06-OCT-2010 as part of the 2010 Port Harvest Tour.

2008 Alves de Sousa Vintage Port

Deep purple in the glass. Black fruit nose. Blackberry and black currant in the mouth. Very big and bold. Very long finish. This is a superb Port.

Score: 94 points. Simply outstanding, especially for an "off" vintage.
