1998 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Hints of kirsch, plumskin, confectioners sugar, and briar on the nose. This is ridiculously youthful, with massive concentration and sweetness, fruit and heat, and some chewy, fine-grained tannins that kick in on the finish. Had a glass over several nights. Good overall balance, which bodes well for the future. My other bottle is going to sleep for a very long time. 90+ pts
