1980 Robertson’s Rebello Valente Vintage Port

Produced and bottled by Sandeman. Decanted 5 hrs. Very positive development of the aroma after abt 3.5 - 4 hrs decanting. Redbrown brick colour. Aroma of sweet dried fruit and rotting wood. Medium body. Pleasant start of the taste with showing little alcohol, being nicely balanced, quite sweet. Some spices towards the end. Medium length in the aftertaste. Fully matured for drinking now. Pleasant and OK vintage port. 87 pts.
