1982 Quinta do Infantado Vintage Port

This is the second vintage (first was 1978) from the single quinta after the laws were changed late 70s. When this vintage port was produced Infantado was an estate-bottling quinta and still is acc. to their web-site. Bottled June 1985 (nearly three years after harvesting). Gift from a Portuguese business friend abt five years ago. Decanted 6 hrs. Redbrown brick colour. Aroma of spices, sweet dried fruits and touch of perfume. Showing little alcohol after the long decanting. Medium-/light body. Balanced. Short to medium rather dry finish. Fully matured for drinking now. 83 pts.
