2003 Taylor Fladgate LBV Port

From a batch of LBVs that I tasted over a couple of days in late 2010.
2003 Taylor Fladgate LBV
filtered, bottled 2008
Color: Dark ruby and red. Nearly opaque center.
Nose: Grapey, some darker notes, and some slight alcohol.
Palate: Subdued, grapey, full, and sweet. Good tannins, decent acidity. Drinks nicely and goes well with food.
Finish: Light tannins, then fruity and warm. Very nice, good length.
Score: 92 points. This particular bottle has probably been open too long to show at its best, but still recognizably an '03 Taylor Fladgate.
