1980 Gould Campbell Vintage Port
served blind

Color: Dark, between red and purple.
Nose: Musty, hot.
Palate: Tannic and powerful. Moderate body and sweetness. Decent acidity. Fruits very vague and not very strong.
Finish: Tannins, heat, and some latent fruit.

Score: 88 points. By all accounts, this bottle was corked. I thought I might be able to smell it, but still couldn't taste it. However I've noticed that when others say a bottle is corked that I generally find the fruits to be weak and vague, and that held true in this case as well.
