"Best of the '80s" FTLOP Vintage Port Retrospective

1985 Graham Vintage Port
served blind
Color: Dark red with a purple tint.
Nose: Ripe purple fruits, with hints of both red and black berries.
Palate: Consistent and uniform. Very pleasant and smooth. Round, rich, and luscious.
Finish: Good length and nice warmth. Tails off smoothly.
Score: 94+ points. I had to laugh after the reveal, because I had no idea what this might be. This was partly because I'd mis-identified a later Port in the flight as the Graham, but even having done that I picked the actual 1985 Graham as my Port of the Night. Clearly the Graham style suits me very well.
