1970 Niepoort Vintage Port

Post by Andy Velebil »

Still a very dark redish purple with a strong nose of blueberries. On the palate it was sweet and smooth with light cinnamon, young plums, dense fruit, light tannins, and full bodied. The long finish mirrored the palate and showed just how great this rarely mentioned and hard to find VP is.

Definitely not one that is easy to get a hold of and whenever you get to try the '70 Niepoort, it is a moment that you will remember. Nice TN!
