2007 Niepoort LBV Port

As of today, I have not seen any tasting notes in FTLOP of this port. As you will see from this tasting note I am not too happy, and look forward to read other members views.
Normal cork, not the T-cork.
Decanted 2.5 hrs, no sediments. Dark red with a touch of purple. Concentrated young fruit in the aroma, but in a modest way. Very well balanced, smooth port in a juicy style, taste dominated by the young fruit, a bit on the dry side towards the end. Medium body and medium length.
But, there is very little character in this port. In a way it is elegant, but as I have seen with his 2008 Niepoort Charme (Douro red), the hunt for elegance is giving a port with very little character. 86 pts.
