Unfiltered, bottled in 2008. From a 375ml bottle. This was a cellar defender that stopped me from cracking something else. I didn't decant it and it was finished off over about 6 hours:
Purplish burgundy color - dark but not opaque, with bright violet highlights. The nose is like a medley of ripe berry aromas with a fresh mineral/floral quality. The palate also shows lots of fresh berry flavors - tart cherry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry - as well as a dash of black pepper on a smooth, medium bodied frame. Firm but approachable tannins and bright acidity make for an easy drinking and very tasty port that should also age nicely. 87 pts, Tasted 6/11
