Found on a wine list for $30 so I had to get it. Popped and poured but still has lovely loganberry and menthol nose. Moderate tannins on palate but getting stronger as it gets air. Plenty of fruit and a long smooth finish this is drinking nicely even without aeration. Hopefully I can save some for later to really get a good overall feel, but right now I'm.....

This later showed chocolate and mocha on the palate but held about the same overall score. This will make a very nice mid-term VP but this bottle just didn't have the overall body and structure showing to indicate a long life ahead of it. Score remains the same.

The 1999 Quinta de Roriz is my "benchmark" Port that marks my boundary between 89 and 90 points. The brambleberries and chocolate sound familiar in your 2000.
