Question about 1986 Dows Quinta Do Bomfim

Post by Andy Velebil »

I have 2 bottles of this Dows and I was wondering if they are drinking good right now or should I wait?

If they are drinking good right now, how long should I decant before drinking?

I have a dinner on Friday and was thinking of taking a bottle if they were ready to drink.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Andy

Andy, never had this one but a few other Single Quinta vintage from Dow's. Normally they are ready to drink for my taste after 15 years. 1986 produced decent Single Quinta Port, do decant it 3 hrs prior to serving and it should be good.
