1946 Dow's Vintage Port

In brown glass bottle, a very rare bottle of Port. A very light ruby color with lots of pine resin on the nose. As it open in the glass the pine resin subsided a little but never totally left. While the palate also showed some pine, rosemary, and eucalyptus with light red fruit underneath. Light and attractive and while past it's best years was still very enjoyable.
