Tapatalk on sale for $1.99

Post by Eric Menchen »

At the Amazon App Store: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ref=pe ... B0055ELS7U#
I already have the App Store App installed, so I finally decided to give Tapatalk a try. Installing now.

Seems like this might be easier for reading on my phone, but the green bars on forums don't seem to update when I've read everything in a forum, even when I use the refresh button.

Hi Eric,
I updated the TapaTalk server plugin to the latest version. I suspect that it will fix the issue. Please let us know!

Would someone mind explaining the purpose of Tapatalk to me? I often visit the forum using the Dolphin browser on my Android phone, and I've had no problems viewing or posting. Do I really need Tapatalk?

Thanks!

No. It's not required. TapaTalk gives you an easier interface to navigate through the forums - especially when you only want to see the new posts. It's easier to read the posts because there is a lot less "chrome" around the message content. Posting a reply is very easy - it gives you a simple "facebook-like" reply interface. It just has all-around better navigation for smart phones. It also works on multiple boards and automatically enters your password for you for each board.
