Douro Animus. Not great but not bad.
And today my favourite rosé. I have 4 bottles left and since the quinta/winery has been sold i can’t get new ones 😢.

On 27 March 2022, 2020 Oscar's Quevedo Douro Rosé. Seemed appropriate for that evening.

Excellent. Needed a decant and 1 hour to show its stuff. Got a few more to sit on.
Hard to find in the US, got mine at auction.

2019 Quinta da Fonte Souto Branco. My go to white for the past few years. An excellent white for the price.

Eric, how was this? I have a 1991 that I'm bringing to a tasting next month. What's the flavor profile? Are these good or meh?

2019 Passarella pedra do gato Dao. A very nice wine that improved quite a bit more by decanting. 2 days later there was still a glass in the bottle and it was still very enjoyable.

Sorry for the late reply. I hope yours was good. Mine was. I appreciate them more for the rarity than the flavor, but they are nice, a more generic sweet white profile. I don't remember the details now, but wouldn't be surprised by apricot or honey ... I don't recall highly developed sugar flavors.
