1991 Warres Vintage Port

Ruby red, with a color kind of in the middle of the pack at this tasting. There was some dried spice in the aroma. On its own, this was subtle and velvety in the mouth, typical for my experiences with Warres. There was some nice acid in this that made it pair surprisingly well with the beef entree. Later some caramel-sugary flavors showed up, but it wasn't overly sweet. This was the first bottle to be polished off, even before a half bottle of Graham's. 92 points.
This bottle was double sealed, with a black seal over a blue one.
