2005 Barros LBV Port

Decant: Not Known - bottled 2011. Very dark in colour, an opaque red. Quite closed on the nose. Restrained entry, big tannins and modest fruit - the balance is not quite there. A big finish, tingling the iniside of the lips and with mild, chalky tannins and dry blackcurrant skin. A great finish that saves the wine from being quite poor. 81 points
