Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Mid-red in colour, looking to be in early maturity; 60% opaque. Beef bouillion on the nose, salty and slightly spicy with a slight hint of blueberry. Hollow on the entry, with a dry mouthfeel; fruit is subdued and slightly sulky, very dry tannins. The aftertaste is lovely, full of soft fruit and a finish of youthful blueberries. This changed rapidly in the glass, opening up to show much more fruit and herbs on the nose. Sadly, I forgot to score this. NR points
