2003 Colmaca Vintage Port

Decant: Just Opened - Deep red, still showing some purple in the colour - baby young. Purple fruit and blueberries on the nose. Strongly tannic attack, angular and acidic; appearing very closed. Dominated by the huge tannins but with decent levels of fruit behind the tannin. Dry and austere finish. Tight, closed and unattractive at the moment. Guessed to be Dow 2000. 87 points
