1966 Croft Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 9 hours - Ex-cellars from BBR. Gentle red colour, 40% opaque. Modest nose, showing a little cranberry. Balanced entry, mixing fruit and a touch of bitterness. Full bodied, rich and mouthfilling. A touch of sharpness and acidity on the late palate. Slightly hot on the aftertaste and then a long and powerful finish of sweet cranberry of great length. This is a beautiful port that needs more time to show fully. 91 points
