1967 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - 4,800 cases made. Mature red in colour, 70% opaque. Limited scent on the nose. Balanced on entry, sweet fruit but a balanced acidity supporting the fruit. Develops beautifully with strawberry syrup. Hot aftertaste, but flavoursome finish with a delicious by cocoa and sour grapes. Well balanced wine. 86 points
