1978 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port

Decant: 11 days - Mid-orange colour, 40% opaque. Virtually nothing on the nose, just a little dust. Sweet entry, lovely rhubarb acidity, delicious balance and flavours of orange caramel that build up wonderfully. Hot aftertaste, followed by a sweet, lemon and lime marmalade length - sticky and flavoursome. Very much a colheita, but very tasty. 88 points
