1991 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - From half bottle. Opaque (but there was fine sediment in the bottom of the glass), mid red colour. Stewed rhubarb and a funky nose, perhaps indicating a spoiled bottle. Nice palate, with plenty of mature fruit showing stewed apricots and ginger. Hot aftertaste, full of soft oranges. More enjoyable than indicated by the nose. Guessed to be Dow 1983. 82 points
