1980 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: Not Known - Deep red, still quite youthful, 95% opaque. Sturdy, fruit (blackcurrants) dominated - lots of youthful maturity. Rich mouthfeel, big-bodied with young and lively tannins. Mouthfilling - a big port. Slight burn on the afteratse before an immensely long finish dominated by dry fruit. A big wine which will improve with another 10 years or more. Guessed to be a Fonseca 1985. 91 points
