1997 Quinta do Infantado Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Deep red, but showing signs of early maturity in the rim; 95% opaque. Stewed Victoria plums on the nose. Silky structure on entry, then ripe red apples before the spicy tannins make themselves known - but not aggressively. Red apple peel dominates the pleasant aftertaste and a good length finish. Spicy cranberries vanish at the end of a long finish. Drinking very nicely now. 86 points
