1986 Grahams Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port

Decant: 13½ hours double decanted - Purchased ex-cellars in summer 2010. Dark red in colour, still 99% opaque. Slightly hot nose - which may have been caused by the warmth of the room - but showing some dusty redcurrant. Soft and velvety texture, lots of fruit almost hiding a marked acidity and with powdery tannins that are very persistent. Dry, fruity aftertaste of raisins and sultanas followed by a long, dark chocolate finish. Simply fabulous port. 92 points
