Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Deep red and youthful ; opaque. Closed on the nose, what there is is very youthful and a touch sharp. Young and sharp impact on the palate; ripe fruit but with sizeable acidity. Good fruit flavours on the late palate but leightweight compared with the other wines on show today. Warm and generous aftertaste of modest length, with a lovely sweet strawberry aftertaste. Very agreeable but needs a few more years. A second sample tasted 24 hours later was much better and more approachable. 88 points
