Sweet and hollow on entry; fruit is reserved and the first impression is of the tannins, although these fade quickly to leave only the lightweight fruit. Hot aftertaste, then a lingering dry finish where the fruit finally shows through. A poor bottle, not showing as well as it could or should. 81 points
