2004 Quinta do Passadouro Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Deep red, opaque and with a solid rim. Fresh applemint on the nose but not much else. Soft texture on the palate, limited fruit and with big tannins that are a little green or stalky in tone. The fruit grows in the mouth but the balance is not quite right. The tannin dominated aftertaste is big and tingling with the finish being the best feature of this wine. Not showing well with the balance being out. 85 points
