Decant: 5 hours - Based on the 1948 colheita. Light in colour, with a pale centre, 10% opaque. Sweet almonds and treacle on the nose. Huge thick texture, with soft and smooth flavours, big flavour profile. A massive aftertaste, the acidity has softened a bit compared to the base wine, but the flavours are still full and rich.
