1955 Sandeman Vintage Port

Decant: 4½ hours - 60% opaque; a lovely mature red colour. Soft and gentle essence of concentrated mandarin orange on the nose. Very pleasing. Intensely flavoured entry; full of fruit and still some dry tannins. Big and burly. Dry fruity aftertaste, that gives way to a long dried cherry finish that also shows tannins. 91 points
