2009 Skeffington Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - From a half bottle. Rich magenta colour, totally opaque. Sweet blueberry on the nose; sweet fruit initially on the palate, followed by a quick flash of serious acidity before settling down to a better balance of well behaved, slightly green tannins, violets and beautiful fruit with a dash of black chocolate. Fabulous aftertaste, long and full of Christmas pudding. Delicious port, full of baby-fruit. 90 points
