Decant: Not Known - Cask sample. 500 cases made with 380 for the UK market and 120 for the Portuguese market; will wholesale for £150 per six-pack in bond. The wine has been blended and released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the liberation of Lisbon by William Warre. Bright blueberry nose, very elegant restrained fruit. Huge levels of acidity on the palate, but the violet fruit comes through to dominate. soft mulberries and tannins on the aftertaste and a surprisingly subdued finish. 87-89/100. 87 points
