Decant: 4 hours - Almost opaque, but not quite; a lovely deep red. Quite empty on the nose, but swirling releases some astringent blackcurrant. Empty initial impact on the mouth, but this grows into very fruity and surprsingly tannic blackcurrant beast. The blackcurrants dominate the aftertaste and fade to reveal sweet, dark chocolate. 86 points
