I was having lunch with my friend Jamie Kutch in the Bay area and he brought a friend along to meet me. Having known Jamie for years, several before he decided to try his hand as a Pinot Noir specialist and moving from NY to CA, I brought along an OLD Madeira for him to try. His friend was Ray Walker, a person I only knew at that time as a fellow poster on eBob about five or six years ago. I read a couple of years later that he was picking up his wife and recently born infant girl and moving to France. Here are the basics of that story:
