Blending has quite a history in my part of the world, but it went out of vogue for a while as the trends moved towards single vineyard, single verital wines.
With the increasing popularity of the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese varieties, we are starting to see some interesting combinations.
A recent one I tried was a Touriga Nacional, Shiraz and Pinot Noir blend. :shock: It was actually pretty good
